Achieve flawless, even results with Kalklitir's VOC-free Primer a water-based solution in convenient powder form. Specially formulated to prepare surfaces for lime paint, this eco-conscious primer ensures optimal paint absorption and a smooth, lasting finish.
Ideal for both new builds and renovation projects, our primer can be applied on a wide range of surfaces including previously painted water-based walls, lime paint, alkyd coatings, concrete, gypsum, MDF, and plywood. It is also suitable for refreshing lime-painted walls before applying plastic-based or acrylic paint simply sand away any grease or oil stains before priming.
Each 250g bag, when mixed with 500ml of water, start with 375mml of water and gradually add up to 500ml until you reach the consistency of smooth paintable paste (like yogurt). For best results, allow a minimum of 12-24 hours drying time before applying paint.(brush or roller)
